Quests are either a direct mission given by Chiron, Athena, or any gods, or a prophecy given by the oracle. The two have different circumstances and are given alternately in Camp Enigma. The quest takers must set out after careful planning and come back to camp before the monthly ceremony. An accomplished quest will be rewarded by high cabin points each member (30 points) and often exempts them from camp activities. It is not all games because it must always be kept into mind that venturing out in the world is dangerous and many will try to get in their way. Stay alive.A senior camper leads a quest and is joined by 3 other campers. They are given their quest and to set out into the world with certain rules, if they manage to survive and return to camp, they are required to end their journey by sacrificing a few mementos and their shrouds in the camp hearth.Immortals cannot join the quest unless they gave the quest themselves or will strip down their powers as if they were a demigod themselves. Otherwise, they can play a role on the quest by either: helping out a group on their task or interfere with the quest in some way.Winners and victors are given laurel wreaths and paraded around camp. More poignantly, anytime a camper goes on a quest, their siblings/cabin mates weave them a funeral shroud in case their sibling does not survive — if the camper has no siblings, another cabin may volunteer to do it, should they return victorious, they get to burn the shroud.
Sacrificing is one of the main highlights of a quest. On the battlefield, if you wish to win the favor of a god or if you want your request to be granted, you will have to sacrifice something to them.To win a favor, sacrifice something that they can be delighted about like what happened in HOO where a boat full of cola was sacrificed to Bacchus (Dionysus) .If you have a wish you want to be granted, do a deed of something of the same caliber then do it for the god you're asking. Especially works if your request has something to do with past myths and legends, like how Frank killed every monster in Venice so Mars (Ares) can give him a snake to save Nico. The snake is in Mars' myth and a previous hero requested the same thing and was awarded after showing great strength. In camp, you can sacrifice to the gods by the hearth. Whisper the god/s' name then toss it to the fire, once you smelled the essence of the god, it reached them and you can win their favor and help in the future, it also a sign of respect to your parents.

Q: Are we the one to plan what monsters/etc. we'll meet along the way?
A: Mostly yes, but if a god decided to send some your way, it will be added on to the list without question.
ー
Q: What does being a quest leader mean?
A: You oversee the whole operation, keep your members in check and make sure all of you are alive when you get back to camp. You lead them in your own way too of course.
ー
Q: Should mortals get involved, what should they do?
A: Let the mortal authorities handle it. If someone gets caught up between a team's fight, feel free to help them but never ever use ambrosia or nectar or else they wouldn't survive that at all.
ー
Q: What happens if the quest is a fail?
A: If the leader decides to retreat and abandon the quest, they may do so and immediately return to camp. If a prophecy is given, that will be really tricky. But always remember to take your lives into full account before anything else.
